Xperia Z 也是採用 APQ8064 處理器的,而 Qualcomm 在 CES 2013 發表新一代的 Snapdragon 處理器,並分為 600 和 800 兩個系列。
Snapdragon 600 和 800 系列的處理器,主要是針對中高階手機、平板電腦及智能電視等市場,預計在年中便會有裝置搭載。官方稱 800 的性能較現時的 S4 Pro 快 75%,並採用 28nm HPm(High Performance for mobile)製程,同時將 LPDDR3 的匯流排時脈提升到 800MHz。Snapdragon 800 將使用新的 Krait 400 架構及 Adreno 330 顯示核心,最高時脈可達 2.3GHz。至於 600 系列,是較 800 系列低一階,可稱上是 S4 Pro 的升級版,暫定本年第二季推出,最高時脈可達 1.9GHz,並將 Adreno 320 顯示核心強化以及支援 LPDDR3。
此外,Snapdragon 600 和 800 支援 LTE-ADVANCED(Category 4),最高速可達 150Mbps,也支援 802.11ac WiFi 和 USB 3.0。另一方面,Qualcomm 表示今年還會推出針對中低階市場的 400 和 200 系列的處理器,但尚未公佈有關詳情。

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors target premium mobile and computing devices. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors are currently sampling and expected to be available in commercial devices by mid-year 2013.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor targets high-end mobile devices. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is designed to deliver great performance, rich graphics and enhanced user experience and will deliver up to 40 percent better performance than the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor at lower power. The new processor offers system-wide architectural improvements, key component upgrades and expanded connectivity options. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor features a new Krait 300 quad-core CPU with speeds up to 1.9GHz, a new speed enhanced Adreno 320 GPU and support for LPDDR3 memory. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is sampling now and is expected to be available in commercial devices by second quarter 2013.
