說到「PadFone」，相信大家也會想到是一部「變型手機」，的確 PadFone Infinity 的概念就是將手機和平板電腦融合在一起。而繼上一代的
PadFone 2 後，ASUS（華碩）在 MWC 2013 上發佈了 PadFone Infinity，就是全新一代的 PadFone（包括手機及平板基座）。
PadFone Infinity 是新的 PadFone 手機及平板基座，可視為第 3 代 PadFone（PadFone 3），與 PadFone 2 一樣都沒有鍵盤基座，但規格方面當然增強了。
手機配備 5 吋 1080p 441ppi Super IPS 螢幕（400 nit 亮度）、2GB LPDDR2-1066 RAM、1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 四核心處理器、1,300 萬像素 F/2.0 光圈鏡頭、200 萬像素前置鏡頭、32GB 或 64GB 內存空間及不能更換的 2,400mAh 電池，預載 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean 系統，支援 NFC、802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi、LTE 及 DC-HSPA+，並具有鈦灰、香檳金和粉紅三色的機身選擇。其機身尺寸為 143.5 × 72.8 × 6.3～8.9mm，重 141g。值得一提的是，PadFone Infinity 手機是採用 nano-SIM 設計的。
而平板基座方面，10.1 吋的螢幕由上一代的 1,280 × 800 升級至 1,920 × 1,200（1080p） 244ppi，其亮度為 400 nit。還有 100 萬像素的前置鏡頭以及 5,000mAh 電池，機身顏色則只有鈦灰色，機身尺寸為 264.6 × 181.6 × 10.7mm，重量為 530g。
除了規格外，當然還要說一說發售資料，手機及平板基座將於 4 月發售，定價為 €999，折合約 HK$10,115 或 NT$38,690。

Premium design with premium performance
With a slender unibody design crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, ASUS PadFone™ Infinity is both beautiful and durable. The 5-inch screen features a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution with an extraordinary 441 pixels-per-inch for text so crisp it looks like a printed page, and wonderfully detailed high-resolution images. 64GB of storage complements the class-leading Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 600 1.7GHz processor with quad-core CPU for a smooth and responsive premium Android experience, while 100Mbit/s LTE and 42Mbit/s DC-HSPA+ ensure super-fast web browsing and downloads.
ASUS PadFone™ Infinity features a high-performance 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 five-element lens that captures incredibly detailed images, with no shutter lag. A dedicated image signal-processor enhances low-light image quality and enables PadFone™ Infinity to capture up to 100 sequential photos at eight frames-per-second, while simultaneously recording 1080p Full HD video. PadFone™ Infinity can also output 1080p Full HD video via its Micro-USB-compatible MyDP port.
Share apps and mobile data instantly
The unique two-in-one nature of ASUS PadFone™ removes the tedious need to synchronize data between smartphone and tablet. Data and settings on PadFone™ Infinity are available instantly on PadFone™ Infinity Station upon docking and running apps are smoothly reformatted to fit the larger display. Mobile data bills are also reduced, since a single data plan can be shared between both devices.
PadFone™ Infinity comes with new and exclusive ASUS apps, including SuperNote 3.1 for note taking, Story for creating stunning photo albums and ASUS Echo for voice control of PadFone™ Infinity.
PadFone™ Infinity has up to 19 hours of 3G talk time, which increases to up to 40 hours when docked into PadFone™ Infinity Station. PadFone™ Infinity Station also has sufficient battery capacity to fully recharge the docked PadFone™ Infinity up to three times.

ASUS PadFone Infinity will be available in Taiwan from April and selected other countries from early Q2 2013. The combined price of PadFone Infinity 64GB and PadFone Infinity Station is €999 (MSRP).
